Beauty Basics
You always want to start out with a fresh canvas, this means always make sure you have a clean face before applying your makeup. Wash your face. A dove beauty bar is one of the best beauty bars and very inexpensive. Use a toner to remove dead skin cells on your face. If you have dry skin apply a moisturizer. If you have dark under eye circles or pimples, apply a yellow toned concealer first. This hides dark pigmentation. Next apply your foundation. Your foundation should blend in with your skin tone. I recommend Alamay Amazing Lasting foundation. Make sure to apply the foundation all over your face ( on eye lids, upper lip area). Act as if you are washing your face when you apply foundation. You want to put it everywhere so you have an even looking skin tone. This helps aviod blotches. After the foundation is applied, smooth powder over your face. I like to use Max Factor's pancake makeup for powder.
Department Store Makeup
Do you only use department store makeup?( For example Clinique and Lancome.)

Yes, it's the best kind out there.
Yes, but only because I love the bonus sales.
No, they are too pricey.
No, I use all different brands.

Applying Eyeshadow
Hooded Eyes
step1-sweep a light hued shadow from your lash line to halfway up the lid
step2-apply a medium shade into the crease of the eye
step3-using a dark eye pencil or shadow, draw a thin line along the upper lashes to give them definition
step4-"highlight" the brow bone right under the arch with a shimmery shade to add lift to the eye (such as Cover Girl "champagne")mascara is optional

Small Eyes

step3-brush on a medium color in the crease of the eye
step4-sweep a darker shade along the outer corner of the lower lash line to the pupil, curl your eyelashes and apply two coats of mascara

Deep-Set Eyes
step1-use a light shadow over your entire lid from the lash line to just below your brow bone
step2-dot a brown or gray shadow along the entire lash line, but keep the line thin
step3-apply lengthening mascara

Close-Set Eyes
step1-dust a light shadow from your lash line up onto your brow bone, also sweep color around your tear duct and down under your bottom lid
