Welcome. Diamond Music's new group Icez is made up og two young stars straight out of the streets of NJ. Marissa Costello and Lashay Lane met at an out of district school . Marissa, 14, and Lashay, 17, became good friends. Know in their area as sisters, the two talked about their career and eventually got signed to Diamond Music. |
Marissa was born on May 14, 1990 in Michigan City, Indiana. She instantly went into foster care. At 5 months old she was adopted and moved to NJ. She started dancing at 2 and started singing at 4. Her other hobby was soccer. Soccer played a major part of her life. At 13 she got signed to Diamond Music. |
Lashay, 17 met marissa in September 2004. The two girls sat in the van on the way to school and talked about their dreams of being in the music industry. Lashay has the high full voice while Marissa has the strong harmonious voice. The two had fought over a boy earlier that year but things came together and they realized that their group is important. That fight is the base of many songs. They have written songs about love, friendship, loss, cheating, their first time, heart break, and finding love. |
As two biracial girls, it is hard to survive in the music industry. They strive to do thier best and it has shown that hard work pays off. Being signed to the same lable as Tego Calderon is not easy. Tego has a high rank in the music industry and it will be hard to reach his level. |
The newest member of the crew is Jamar H. Born in Trenton NJ in 1987. Jamar moved to Princeton later on. Jamar met Marissa in September 2004 at school. They became friends and dicussed the group. As the assistant, Jamar is responsible for keeping the group together so you can thank him for all of their hits. |
