Brief History Introduction The Institute for Human Rights Education (IHRE) is based in Molyko in Buea. Buea is the Educational centre of the South West Province of Cameroon, located at the foot of Mount Fako, or mount Cameroon which is the second highest point in Africa referred to by the Portuguese explorers who first visited Cameroon around the 15th century as (the chariot of the gods). Buea is two-kilo metres away from the Atlantic Ocean and blessed with a magnificent climatic condition for the local inhabitants and foreigners.
