here are some little hints people say blastoise is a weak little water pokemon but me and my old lv 100 blastoise disagree I myself start off most of my pokemon games the first time i play um with a water pokemon bulbasuar. is good at first but I had hell of a time trying to do the league with a venasuar. charizard I soon found out was the best way to win battles so never start off with bulbasaur because he lets u down when it really matters so take my advice and start out with either squirtle or charmander.A good pokemon to capture in the game is zapdos in case u didnt know his location is the powerplant east of cerulean city u need the HM surf to get there.once u are standing next to him save your game then press a on him to battle him. if u make him faint just reset your game when u capture him train him to lv60 and teach him these moves thunderwave/thunder/detectandfly zapdos was a massive help to me when I did the league by the way u cath all legendary birds at lv 50. Then if you want to catch articuno witch i think is the weakest legendary bird go to seafoam islands do what you need to do as soon as you get to him a good thing to do is save the game in case you make him faint.
