Silver is a powerful, natural substance known to have wonderful antibiotic uses - for thousands of years - with no harmful side-effects having ever been recorded. Our ancestors knew the value and benefits of the use of silver in the gaining and maintenance of good health.
A silver dollar in the milk jug used to be a common trick of Great-Grandma's -- to keep the milk from spoiling out on the back porch -- during the long, hot summertime.
The Ancient Greeks recognized a medicinal benefit of silver, and it has been observed that the ancient families who ate off silver utensils were rarely sick, rarely fell to the annoyance of infections or common afflictions and disease.
Long ago, this knowledge was present with the kings, emperors, czars, sultans, their families and members of their royal courts. They all ate from silver plates, drank from silver cups, used silver utensils and silver food-storage vessels.
The silver, in very minute bits, was worn away from the utensils and consumed in ever-so-slightly a fashion, into the bodies of the people using the silver. The food stored in the silver containers would absorb - in very trace amounts - the precious beneficial metal, as well. As a result, these people ingesting trace amounts of silver enjoyed quality of life with a bare minimum chance of contracting infectious disease!
This is how the term, "BLUE-BLOODS" came to be!!! The Royalty were called "BLUE-BLOODS" because their blood had a slight, blue tint to it - due to the fact of the minute traces of pure, metallic silver within the bloodstream. The red-blooded, common folk, however, who ate from earthenware dishes with iron, wooden, and other metallic utensils, were frequently sick.
